Goals: To have our entire team qualify for state, and have a committed consistant number of students.

Description:

Students learn to research different topics, decipher useable information from non useable data, create speeches supported by fact, and practice and build public speaking skills. Our club is divided into two categories; speech- which is drama based, and debate- which is argument based. Our season is over now, but we did go to our version of state: the NFL District Congressional National Qualifiers on January 30th and 31st. Alax Jones became a National finalist and National alternate. Both Alax and Mike Nolan scored personal bests and were amazing during competition.

Next year, Speech & Debate is becoming a class and we are so excited by the possibilities this holds! All practices and preperation will be done in class, so there will be no after-school practices. Please join us for an incredible experience!
